26 Seconds is a three-stage project that reveals the pandemic of child sex trafficking. The first stage was the documentary short that has won multiple awards which highlighted sex tourism in Thailand and Cambodia. The second stage is the feature documentary 26 Seconds - ISIS Sex Slaves, which has won multiple awards and is currently available on EPOCH TV. The third stage will follow with a dramatic docuseries highlighting the survivor stories from right here in our own backyards in the USA. These intimate interviews include vivid details in the survivors' own voices how each victim was captured or lured into the sex trade, the horrors of their captivity, and the commitment of each individual and organization to rescue the victims at whatever cost.
26 Seconds sheds light on the nonprofit organizations, churches, and government agencies who are actively working to abolish this horrific practice. These organizations, among others, save victims from the debilitating effects of human trafficking. Thousands of children and women have been rescued by these organizations, but there are still millions more in captivity.
26 Seconds chronicles the efforts of our experts and their teams to rescue victims from modern-day slavery and explores the major players perpetuating the sex trade, the living conditions of the enslaved at whose hands children face the most abuse, and the major obstacles our experts face in extricating victims from this bondage. From viewing the interviews and heartbreaking footage, we watch as survivors are rescued, restored and reintegrated by non-profit organizations, and in some cases, reunited with their families. The Director/Producers vision is to create awareness and call to action by educating audiences and giving a voice to those who have been silenced. Human trafficking is the fastest-growing illegal industry in the world. There are more slaves today than any time in history.
