Wei Will Li
Post-Production Manager Wei "Will" Li has graduated with an editing emphasis from Dodge College of Film & Media Arts at Chapman University. Propelled by his interest and earnest attitude he received his BFA with top ranking marks and is proud to have earned the Dodge College Fellowship Award. Will is convinced that a filmmaker needs an affluent background and experience to create more intriguing works of art. A documentary is one of these creative platforms to do so. Will is proud to be part of the 26 Seconds documentary project as a post-production assistant and editing assistant. Will would like to become a great editor for narrative and documentary films after graduating from Dodge College. |
Starry Ye
Post-Production Manager Starry has graduated from Chapman University and majored in Film Studies. In Starry’s filmmaking journey, she used to work professionally with Headline News at CNN and produced two high-profile and nationally televised trials for CNN’s special live coverages: The Killing of Ahmaud Arbery and The Kyle Rittenhouse Trial. In 2022, Starry worked in post-production for the six-part limited docu-series for Netflix – The Andy Warhol Diaries, which received four Primetime Emmy nominations 2022. Later that year, Starry joined the post-production team of The End Is Nye, with 19-time Emmy Awards Winner and renowned science educator Bill Nye. Starry has been always enthusiastic about storytelling and filmmaking along the way. |
Megan Miller
Post-Production Assistant Megan studied screenwriting at Dodge College of Film and Media Arts at Chapman University. She has written scripts in the past, and was excited to work in post production to experience the film making process. Megan is passionate about telling the stories of the overlooked and the voiceless. Megan hopes to write and work in production for films about people in minority groups. Specifically those in the LGBTQ+ community and with Latin X backgrounds. |
Sam Gershi
Post-Production Assistant Sam Gershi grew up in a suburb in the Bay Area, and went to Chapman University’s Dodge College of Film and Media arts after realizing that starting a business didn’t ensure success. Sam has had a lifelong love of movies, television, and radio, and is a graduate with a degree in Creative Producing. Sam's worked on countless student films and is most proud of working on his senior thesis projects. Sam is excited to continue to work on meaningful films in the entertainment industry. |
Ruoxi Wen
Post-Production Assistant Ruoxi Wen earned her MBA/MFA Film and TV Producing student at Chapman University,'s, Dodge College of Film and Media Arts. She started directing and writing her own material at 15 years old. She was multi-talented in undergraduate school as a director, writer, and producer for theater, short films, documentaries and reality shows. Ruoxi is proud to also be known as a singer-songwriter. She has produced several films and is looking forward in producing her graduate thesis project. Ruoxi is proud to be a part of the post-production team for 26 Seconds. |
Satvi Sunkara
Post-Production Assistant Satvi Sunkara earned a BFA Broadcast Journalism and Documentary Filmmaking degree at Chapman University's, Dodge College of Film and Media Arts. She is passionate about writing and finding new stories to share worldwide regardless of the platform. Satvi wants to work on as many projects as possible to find her niche in the broadcast and/or entertainment industry. She hopes to keep travelling around the world to gain new experiences and find the stories worth sharing through journalism. Satvi is proud to be a part of the assistant editing team on the 26 Seconds Documentary. |
Faith Smith
Post-Production Assistant Faith Smith was a Screenwriting Major at Dodge College of Film & Media Arts at Chapman University. She has experience working on set as a production assistant for several student films and a project for Quibi Content. As a Visual Journalism minor, she has worked with many students to create content for the Voice of OC. After graduating Faith hopes to continue using her writing skills to tell the stories that are the most important to her. |
Stephawn Spears
Post-Production Assistant Stephawn Christopher Spears is a multifaceted filmmaker born and raised in New Orleans, LA. After receiving his B.A. in Communications from Dillard University, he then went on to pursue his post graduate studies at Chapman Universiity, Dodge College of Film and Media Arts where he received his MFA in film production. Stephawn plans to impact the film and commercial industry and the digital streaming platform online industry in storytelling. |
Yangchi Qi
Post-Production Assistant Yangchi Qi earned his masters degreee in sound design at Dodge College of Film & Media Arts at Chapman University. He studied at the Shanghai Theater Academy as a director for his undergrad. Yangchi wanted to further his studies in film, because he feels that movies are the hope for all human mankind. Sound is a significant part of storytelling because it moves an audience emotionally. "I was touched when I heard the hopelessness in the survivors voices and wanted to help them be heard in a more powerful way through my talent in sound design. It is a privilege and honor to be part of 26 Seconds documentary sound team." |
Roger Glass
Post-Production Assistant Roger studied at Muhlenberg College in Allentown, Pennsylvania receiving a double major in Media and Communication and Film Studies. He received his MFA in Documentary Filmmaking from Dodge College of Film & Media Arts. Roger produced and directed a 20-minute short documentary and is currently working on his thesis film on the Chocs MI3 program. Roger is passionate about working on documentaries because of the strong storytelling of real life subjects. He is looking forward in continuing to work on documentaries and narrative films after he graduates. |
Adam Louchios
Post-Production Assistant Adam Louchios earned his undergraduate business degree at Chapman University. The 26 Seconds feature documentary is his first internship working on a film production. Adam is proud to be a part of the 26 Seconds post production team and applying his business skills by helping to organize the yearly receipts and compile taxes for the CPA in charge of Kelly Galindo Productions, LLC. |
Paul Phromthong
Post-Production Assistant Paul Phromthong earned his BFA in Creative Producing at Dodge College of Film & Media Arts and is completrd a Law Minor at Chapman University. Paul grew up in the Bay Area of Palo Alto, CA., where he first found his love for movies. He has produced several student short films spanning a variety of different genres. Paul developed and produced his senior thesis and is proud to be a part of the 26 Seconds Documentary post production team. |
Vincent Wang
Post-Production Assistant Vincent earned his bachelor degree at Guangzhou University, China and also from Ball State University. He also earned a masters degree at Dodge College of Film and Media Arts. Vincent has worked professionally as an intern at Wavelets Entertainment in creative development; Mandarin film as a bilingual producer; Public Channel Guangdong Radio and TV Station as a script writer and director; TVS-3 Guangdong Radio and TV station as a director assistant; and Muncie Symphony Orchestra as a producer director. He has also received an award for best Documentary Nominee for Forgotten Leprosy Camp, Guangzhou Student Festival, 2015. |
Elizabeth Wolfinger
Post-Production Assistant Elizabeth Wolfinger majored in film production at Dodge College of Film and Media Arts. Her chosen emphasis is in directing, but she also has an overwhelming passion for writing screenplays. Elizabeth also gravitates towards stories, films and documentaries that are grounded in reality, whether that be historical fiction or real-world issues. She is immensely looking forward to telling important stories throughout her career after she graduates. Elizabeth is also extremely proud to be a part of the 26 Seconds project as it is the perfect platform in being a part of survivors stories. |
Chloe Howe
Post-Production Assistant Chloe Howe is a graduate student at Chapman University studying Film and Television Producing. Ever since she was young, she's always wanted to be part of the entertainment industry. She got her undergraduate degree at Southern Utah University where she studied Communications, Psychology, and Theater with the hopes to be on-screen. After graduation Chloe realized that she would much rather be behind the camera than in front of it. She is passionate about giving the quiet voices a chance to share their stories on film and hopes to bring new ideas into the world. |
Luke Dias
Post-Production Assistant Luke Dias is an MFA candidate studying Film and Television Producing at Dodge College of Film and Media Arts. Prior to enrolling at Chapman University, Luke lived in Houston, Texas and has primarily worked on short films and part-time editing and digital media projects. In 2020, Luke earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication with a Minor in Film Studies at Trinity University, and completed remedial directing classes at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts. Luke wishes to impact people's lives through media, and believes 26 Seconds is a worthy step in doing so. |
Daviah Harrison
Post-Production Assistant Daviah Harrison is a Creative Producing major at Chapman University Dodge College of Film and Media Arts. She was an assistant producer for the Pegasus Film Festival, which led her to becoming the Director of the festival the following year. Daviah was also an assistant director for a student short film titled "Crush Me" by Selah Hunter. The experience she has accumulated over the years has prepared her in becoming a post production assistant. Daviah is honored to be working in Post production on the 26 Seconds documentary project. |
Angela Yan Hua
Post-Production Assistant Yan (Angela) Hua is a graduate producing student at Chapman University, Dodge College of Film and Media Arts . She started her academic career as a Cinema & Media Arts student at Vanderbilt University, where she worked on various student short films. Besides producing, she is also passionate about screenwriting. Angela wishes to write and help produce stories that make positive changes in the world. She is honored to be able to give survivors a voice through working on the 26 Seconds documentary project. |
David Xu
Post-Production Assistant David Xu has accrued experiences in different types of media ranging from film producing to news reporting to TVC fashion film producing. He has assisted with all elements of film production such as: script coordination, plot research, video shoots and footage selection for films like Genghis Khan and Single Child in China Film Group (CFG). David has also traveled to Brussel to promote the film Running Like the Wind and has journalist experience at the News Division of the China Central Television Station (CCTV). He also conducted news research, communicating with interviewees, assisted on shoots, and contributed story to both the Domestic News and the Midday News. David has also worked as a producer on SEEDIN Studio at Shanghai. |
Jiaxin (Teddy) Qi
Post-Production Assistant Jiaxin Qi is currently a first-year graduate producer at Dodge school of Film and Media Arts at Chapman University. She received her BA with a major in Film and Television and a minor in Visual Arts at Boston University in 2018. Jiaxin produced and directed a 15-minute documentary about drag queens in 2018, and directed a short thesis film in 2017. Jiaxin is passionate about finding meaningful stories in everyday life and turning them into motion pictures. “Be ashamed to die until you have achieved some victory for humanity” says Horace Mann has always been her motivation to create more powerful and meaningful films. |
Gianna Gomez
Post-Production Assistant Gianna Gomez is an undergraduate student at Chapman University, studying Business Administration. She has been a professional actress and dancer since she was 6 years old. She wishes to continue her passion for entertainment and become a studio network executive. Gomez is grateful to work with Galindo and be a part of the 26 Seconds post-production team to bring awareness to human trafficking. |
Xuexi Yang
Post-Production Assistant Xuexi Yang is a graduate student at Dodge College of Film and Media Arts, studying Film and Television Producing. She earned her bachelor's degree from the Communication University of China and majored in Cinematography & Film Production. Yang has worked on several student films, mostly focused on cinematography. She hopes to learn more aspects of filmmaking. Yang is honored to be a part of the 26 Seconds documentary post-production team. |
Tessa Holtzman
Post-Production Assistant Born and raised in San Francisco, Tessa Holtzman is a senior at Chapman University's Dodge College of Film and Media Arts, pursuing a BFA in Creative Producing with a minor in Spanish. For the past 3 years she has worked on the production team for feature films, television, and short films. Tessa also works within the G&E and camera departments, and has developed several short screenplays. With collaboration at the heart of everything she does, she extends her creativity to visual art and photography as well. Tessa speaks English, Spanish, Portuguese, and Mandarin. |
Xiaodan (Risanta) Li
Post-Production Assistant Risanta Li is a creative producer currently earning her in MFA Producing at Chapman University, Dodge College of Film In Media Arts. Risanta has over 7 years of experience in producing short films, documentaries, televisions, News, and music videos. All of them have broadened and sharpened her perspective and skills as a filmmaker specializing in surrealistic psychological drama and thriller. Risanta also produced, directed and edited seven thriller short films, as well as produced and composed musics. In addition, Risanta has experience producing live news and music shows. |
Chen (Lennon) Wu
